Day 56

French update:
Last night I had French class. Jeanna, Jenny and I are taking lessons from one of the dayworkers, Tom. We were really pumped and excited about it at first, but now we dread it more than look forward to it. We have only ourselves to blame, however, because we don't practice often. Anyways, last night's lesson went really well, even if we were just translating extremely simple English phrases into French.

Work update:
Work has been going well. My boss seems to finally be comfortable with us. Nothing has changed in the aspect that I'm still making beds, cleaning cabins, carpet cleaning and welcoming arrivals but my attitude has definitely improved and God is continuing to make me more content with my role on the Ship.

The ship feels uncomfortably small on some days, and it seems that those kind of days are becoming more and more frequent... Living in close proximity with people is great if you'd like to grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus. :) Or if you'd like to learn a little about yourself! I think my entire life is one big learning curve. I have to go work now, sorry this post is so random and scattered. If you have any questions or want to know anything about the Ship or about my life here, please ask me!!!

  1. You just hang in there, Miss Gibson. Sounds like you're getting ready for a great life, adjusting, being flexible and serving other people.
