Dear blog,
It has been way too long since I last wrote on you. Right now I'm working at a girls summer camp and am busy ALL THE TIME. Life is pretty crazy. The other counselors are awesome and the campers are mostly awesome. :) Last session I had a really difficult group--to put it nicely. But God has shown me so much about my shortcomings and sin, and about His mercy and grace that He gives despite my messed up nature. The verse above comes from 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, and it has been brought to my mind over and over again this past month. God must have an incredible sense of humor because, no matter where I go or what I do in life, and no matter how obvious God has been to show me his faithfulness and love, I STILL fall into doubt and unbelief. He is patient beyond words. There is always something more to learn; always something more to reshape and reform; always something to be broken inside of me; always something that brings me to my knees. Got to go now! Duty calls.
