Today I went to the Ward service for church again. And had the privilege of watching a dress ceremony! A dress ceremony happens when some of the VVF ladies have been healed and are leaving the ship. They are made and given new dresses to wear and many will share their testimonies. It was beautiful to see these women bursting with joy and praise. They were sick and unclean, but have been made new and are clean! One women has had her problem for 21 years, and no doctors could do anything for her until she found Mercy Ships. Many women have similar stories, some having traveled six months on foot to find the Ship. I was overwhelmed by the entire scene, and how vivid a picture it was of God taking us just as we are--messed up and dirty--and giving us His purity and clothing us in His righteousness.
