Every year, the Africa Mercy hosts a film competition. Anyone on the ship may participate in entering movies they've created. There were, I think, thirteen movies competing this year. The film festival is taken very seriously, and all who attend dress according to red-carpet formality. It was so fun to get dressed up and look nice! The winning movie was a five minute advertisement for the Africa Mercy Assisted Living plan. People were laughing the entire time.
